Just to clear a few things up before you get really into this post. This diet won’t give you a six pack. This diet worked for me and one other person, so there’s no guarantees about it. As with every other diet check with your doctor before going on a diet or changing your eating habits.
One day I looked in the mirror as I was walking down the hall and it hit me. I was fat and I needed to go on a diet. For some people it can be a life changing moment, but for me, being very lazy at the time, it kind of killed the motivation to actually loose weight; until I used the laziness to help me.
When I talk about laziness, the thing I’m specifically referring to is being too lazy to cook food. This doesn’t have to be a disadvantage to your dieting. Couple this with a few simple rules to follow and you’ll be on your way to weight loss.
And don’t buy any more. Get rid of everything you like to snack on, or food that doesn’t take time to prepare. The only food that may be left that’s quick to eat is that vanilla fudge twirl low-fat frozen yogurt that’s been sitting in your freezer for at least 4 months and has ice crystals forming on it.
It will fill you up for like 15 min and you’ll be back at the fridge 15 min later and need another cup. Do this in between meals.
Eat cereal and milk for breakfast (I eat bran flakes cause it’s filling). Don’t really limit yourself with breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day. If you're lactose intolerant try Lactaid milk, if that's bad also, improvise. Just keep it to something that you don’t have to cook.
For lunch eat a lunch that fills you up. You can’t go through the day hungry, but keep in mind the laziness aspect. I ate a meal replacement bar or a Pure Protein bar. Its really quick and it’s something you don’t have to make.
Dinner, eat a lean cuisine, something that takes a minimal amount of effort to cook, like you throw it in the microwave and its done. It’s OK if it doesn’t fill you up, you’ll be asleep soon and you can’t feel how hungry you are when you’re asleep.
The hardest part about dieting is always eating out. For the lazy man’s diet don’t order in because that’s like someone bringing junk food to your door so that’s kinda cheating. When you do go out to a restaurant, the only rule that you really have to stick to is eat only half your food, like cut a line in the center and eat exactly half (works well with burritos). if anyone asks you about it tell them your on a diet, you are and this is the only hard rule really, but it’s a really simple one to follow. If the dish you ordered was something healthy like fish and vegetables, sushi (more fish), or something like that, then you can eat the whole thing.
This will usually happen on any diet. Dieting is really simple, calories in has to be less then calories out. Well since your sitting around all day the calories out has stayed constant eventually the amount you eat is going to be the same as what you burn. I started at 175 lbs and I went to 155 lbs and I was stuck there (with a smaller spare tire). If you do have the motivation to not be lazy then apply it to maybe doing some push-ups or going for a walk.
If this works for you or a modification of this works let me know, and I’ll add your contribution.
